Pre-holiday Greetings!

Not that anyone still reads this. I'm going to try and be better now that I have regular access to high-speed connections (both at home and where I'm staying during the week).

Nanowrimo turned out well for me - I wrote almost 9000 words. I'd wanted to write 10k, but I am happy to have written anything at all with my patheticness taken into account. I don't know how folks do it - working 12 hour days for years on end. I would implode.

Went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden this afternoon with J. and J. So lovely. We arrived around 3pm; the sun was bright and the air clear. The glass was alive with light. Beautiful. And warm. We spent much of our visit soaking in the sun while sitting on the steps overlooking Piedmont Park. Typical of Atlanta to have too cold weather the week leading up to the first day of Winter and then have a lovely, sunny, 50 degree day to start things off right.
