Crunchy Passover Goodness

Going to the grocery store is getting a second chance (or fourteen hundredth chance as the case may have it). When I get to the point where there is nothing beyond stale cereal, hotdog relish (to go on the fake ones, of course), and too old yogurt, going to the grocery store is a revitalizing experience. I make a basic list and then walk the aisles looking for the foods that make me feel healthy just putting them in the cart.

I now have wonderful German sunflower bread (to me, this is what Germany tastes like), light cream cheese, salad stuff, skim milk, low fat string cheese sticks. And other good things.

But the best is not good. Right now, in the oven, is a Passover treat. My friend W. got this recipe and is eager for some crunchy, caramel, chocolate matzoh goodness. She had a terrible day and I'm a sucker for brown sugar and butter. Wait... It’s out of the oven now. It is indeed tasty. Do try this at home, boys and girls.

So, as for that fresh start I got at the grocery store yesterday, I’ll get going tomorrow.
