Friday

Long recovery.

Really, I was truly disgusted that I lost the previous version of the last post.

But I'm better now. Ready to keep y'all interested. To help, I've purchased (with my tax refund, of course) a digital camera. Nikon Coolpix 5600. It makes me happy. Of course, I've nothing prepared to show you, but I will get to that sometime this weekend. I just want to take pictures of everything.

Especially this strange man standing at the corner of Briarcliff and LaVista, in front of the church facing Whole Foods. Grey pants and a darker grey shirt with sunglasses and a pocket protector. Standing there at attention, arms at his sides with his hips thrust forward a bit. Like he was waiting for orders from his alien soon-to-be abductor.

I leave for the beach in about 36 hours. Hee hee. Headed to just north of Wilmington, NC. Family trip. Food, good conversation, lots of knitting and much alcohol. And of course, Star Wars. I've still not seen II, but I think my life still worth living. It isn't as if I don't the story. So, next week, during a decadent weekday matinee (ah, Franz Ferdinand, happy song), I'll be catching some Revenge of the Sith action. For action is why I am going to see this flick. Definitely ain't gonna be for Mr. Lucas' gift for dialogue.

Later, taters.
