It's 12:30. I've packed some stuff, but I'll have get most of it in the bag in the morning. I'm not a good pre-departure packer.
Today was beautiful; what with the rain the past couple of days I was starting to think I was in the Netherlands in October. A. and I walked through Flevo Park, had a lovely soup and french fry lunch. I made an apple pie.
Dinner this evening was lovely. The apple pie went over well, but I forgot to salt the crust. Still, even I admit it was tasty - thanks due mostly to the apples which were picked from A. and M.'s tree. Some on the tree were too disgusting to touch - snails. That's all I will say about that.
After dinner we watched Garden State (which I insist on calling Garden Gate for some reason unknown to me). One of those at dinner had not seen it and we all agreed it was good. Better than a board game which I would have held up in my lack of skill at all board games not called Sorry.
I'm off to Bruges on the 9:23 train tomorrow morning. Less than 9 hours from now. Must sleep. Until the next thrilling installment.
