What shall we do today...

Unpack boxes of files. Just like yesterday. We're getting closer to being set up, but things are still a bit slapdash. Change is good, transition sucks.

The office is so large that most people treat the hallways like urban sidewalks.
While many folks are friendly and helpful, less than half the folks you cross paths with will look at you, let alone return a smile.

We looked at another hotel last night. We will move there. A tad farther from the office than we are now, but it is in a quiet area with a park, a track, a grocery store, etc. close by. There were birds chirping in the trees and grass. The hotel is set up more like an apartment building than a hotel. We will be switching rooms Thursday after work. Maybe this will mark the beginning of the settling for which I long.

The weather today was beautiful. Sunrise was beautiful, pink and lavender.
