Yes, night owl. I've started swooping down on my hapless team members and asking them if they have any questions. If I ask enough times, they come up with a question. There's not much you can take for granted with our business. I learn new things every day.
Keep in mind that I'm central time, so it's only 3:51, though I think this will post as 4:51. I'll be asleep by 4:51. I hope. I slept until noon today.
I'm digging in the closet. Shock of shock, I'm not wearing all black this week... because it's all dirty! I was going to do laundry after leaving work yesterday, but I left work at 3:30. In fact, yesterday I wore a red shirt with a red/multi skirt and brown Birks. Not one item of black. I felt conspicuous - like the girl who's trying too hard to put together an outfit.
For all my dorky, Jane Austen loving friends out there - I came across a file this evening of a borrower named Purvis. Why is that name familiar? Have I worked this file before? Nope. Think: perhaps they could let Purvis Lodge, if only the whatserfaces would quit it. (If I knew who the whatserfaces are, I'd win the dork prize. Still, I think I score high enough as it is.)
The lightening this evening was fantastic. As is the cool. Yesterday (Tuesday), walking to work from the long distance lot, it was so frickin' hot. So. Frickin'. Hot. Today was almost perfect. It made me sad to pass under a tree because I wanted to pull up a chair and sit with a beer and a book. Getting up at noon sort of cuts into my daylight outdoor time. I've got to be at work early tomorrow, so I'm going to bed now.
I'll have some photos up of my CA trip this weekend.

Ok, so you may never see this because it's a really old entry, but I must chime in with. "No, not Purvis Lodge. The attics are dreadful!" Who wins the dork prize?
