Who'm I kidding? Everyday is Tuesday. Though, since I'm off tomorrow, I should shut up about it. Today was a good day in that I got out of bed at 10:15 and was able to have a cup of tea and read a bit before having to be out and about. My afternoon errand was to pick up my new-old glasses. I wore these a few years ago and decided to go back to them. Rectangular frames in dark red with a black backing. My mother's favorite.
Earlier this evening I was a leetle short with a colleague. She'd marked up a document before looking at it. I've discussed this with her before. You must actively look at the documents in the file, you cannot assume you know what they are because they look familiar. Usually, I am all kinds of patient, but if I've told you once and you're just being lazy, I ain't got no more patience for you. I'm also much more tired than I've been in a while and less tolerant of stupidity. Questions are always welcome, mistakes because you were sloppy are not.
Tomorrow I will have brunch at a nifty place in uptown Dallas, Breadwinners. It will be such a treat to be in a building that is older than 30 years! To be on paved streets, on sidewalks. I'm almost giddy with the thought of it. Brunch should be tasty, too.
After brunch, it's all NASCAR and knitting. Whoo baby. And maybe the making of a broccoli rice casserole. Mmm, maybe.
I found my new favorite going-to-work-the-second-shift summer drink - three shots of espresso with an inch of milk in a venti cup full of ice. Mmmm. Perfect. Kept me barely going this evening. Hopefully, I'll get enough sleep tomorrow night that I'll be able to cut down to a two shot drink. Keep your fingers crossed.

This is your mother talking. Do not let this job ruin your health. I'm worried about you. Sleeping, working, eating and injecting expresso is not a healthy life style. Go to the GYM. Go outside and take pictures. Breath some fresh air if there is any in Texas.
Don't make me drive to Texas and drag you home.
