Apology

Yes. Too long. From the 8th to the 22nd. I'm in a better place now. My activities this weekend have opened my eyes. It’s not Texas I dislike, I rather like being here I have discovered – the culture, the music, the big sky – it’s the job that is bringing terrible into my life. So, maybe god doesn’t hate this place, she just hates the agency and it’s stray from a focus on the idea that we’re helping folks to the focus being on meeting production goals. We’re like a non-profit that’s forgotten it’s charter and misplaced the mission statement. I can’t imagine that makes god smile.

So. I am resolved. Better attitude and I'll get out more. Until I get my own car here, it will be more difficult, but I shall get out and about at least twice a week – dinner, movie, museum, coffee house – somewhere. I got out to see a movie Friday and was out last night; I’m in such a better frame of mind. If my job sucks, I shall make good use of what little life I have here.

What with putting more interesting things into my daily existence, I shall have more to write about that I find interesting. I apologize for the drought of the past two weeks.
