The following paragraph is all I have left of a post that was lost when the computer decided to reboot. I'm still too irritated to start over, so you get a leetle paragraph... The post was to have been titled "Gentle Touring".
Thursday, Scot and I went for a leisurely walk in neighborhoods nearest their apartment. We walked past Gorky Park and it's imposing main gate; Gorky Park is like a cross between a fairgrounds and a park-park. Didn't feel the need to go in as we were on a walk. We used the underground crosswalk (which is filled with artist's stands, mostly paintings) to go to the Tretyakov Gallery's sculpture garden. The garden has plentiful wonderful 20th century pieces of Art, but its main attraction to me was that it is used as a resting place for a number of the fallen soviet statues and busts.
