Randomly chosen photos

Tulip in the Keukenhof gardens:

Lovely flower for Annemarie:

This is a traditional self-portrait in Ireland. This is on a hill not far from the town of Doolin (go down the hill, follow the road to the right, past the castle, keep going and you'll run smack into Doolin "center"). Random castle. We were driving down the road from visiting with the cake lady and someone saw the castle, "ooh, turn left, turn left. Castle!".

These are the Cliffs of Moher. About 4 km from Doolin. Sunny, but hazy days made for bright, bright photos.

Peter the Great statue with his little head and grotesque hands (as you can see, I did not want to hold his hand, blech).

Uncle Joe was not a modest man... this is one of his "Seven Sisters" buildings. Wedding cakes of concrete - I love that description. This one is the Moscow State University building. Huge. Enormous.

I seem to take this photo everytime I go to Amsterdam. This is what I think of when I think of the city - water, old buildings, boats, beautiful weather.
