Friday

A perfectly autumnal day

I wore a jacket. Much of the afternoon was spent outside under blue skies. Waiting to meet my mom and sister for lunch, I sat on a bench in the sunshine. The only, slight, mar was the piped muzak emanating from the landscaping. Luckily, it was that strain of music that, when considered, makes me wonder if the musicians responsible simply needed a paycheck or if they truly do love what they produce.

Currently, my sandaled feet are cold. Yay! I haven't had cold feet since March! Ooh. This means I get to go put on a pair of socks. I love Fall.

In other weather news, the forecast in St. Thomas is rain, rain, rain. I am heading there next week for a friend's wedding. She deliberately chose a destination that would preclude the attendance of most of her family. It will be 83 degrees and humid enough to melt stone. Eh, well. Rain at the beach can be wonderful. Even if it does rain, there will be some fun frolicking and some fantastic photos.
