ideas...

I've been thinking about what I want to be when I grow up. I noticed this afternoon that the words I use to refer to letting ideas roam about freely to find their wings are words that involve heat and liquid: stew, percolate, steep, mull. Well. I thought it was interesting.

Here's a picture of my lovely niece:

I have decided that it's time to buy another Timbuk2 bag. The current one is getting a bit less than professionally appropriate what with the scuffed and fading graphic panel and the "I'd be frayed if I weren't ballistic nylon" corners. So, there I was looking around and I linked to the pool of Flickr photos tagged Timbuk2. I was looking for color ideas. Can I just say that I love Flickr? It's fantastic. Like walking in your neighborhood at dusk when folks have turned on the lights, but haven't yet shut the curtains. I confess I was drawn more to the "what's in my bag" shots than the colors. I did look at as many as I could before my eyes crossed and my brain went fuzzy. It reminds me of the thrill of exploring the magical wonderland that was mom's purse.

I'm going to post one of these pictures myself. Just because. Sometime not quite far into the future.
