I am a fan of Obamas the way I am a fan of Tilda Swinton. I love them. I don't care what their politics are, I love their style, their aura of better than real reality. I was on the front page of French Yahoo and, apparently, the French feel the same way. Sure, it's a bit like watching fish in a bowl, with the pretty staging and fake plants, but we all like watching fish in a bowl. It's soothing.
