update

Last week, I received my medical packet from the Peace Corps and have begun making appointments and obtaining documentation. Oy. I must really want to do this... money and time. It reminds me of the Habitat for Humanity requirement of their participant families - they must work along side the volunteer builders as well as take classes in home economy, maintenance, etc. Habitat calls it "sweat equity". For the Peace Corps, completing the medical review process is putting in sweat equity.

On a different subject, my weight loss has stalled, but I'm currently wearing a skirt that I could not wear just two months ago. I am going to stick with the idea that I'm converting fat into muscle and ignore the number on the scale. For now.
