Juxtaposition

I am heartsick for those effected by Katrina.

I received the official invitation to my friends' wedding and was happy.

Something simple to remind me that there is good and joy in the world.

I am on the verge of tears whenever I think of what is happening to the people of the Gulf Coast. The Bush/Republican "achievements" are now having a real and personal effect in the lives of so many thousands of people. I do not think this is the sort of crisis response they had in mind when mashing everything into the Department of Homeland Security.
