Tuesday

Home.

The flight was relatively easy. I took more care to get up every couple of hours and walk around the plane and to drink more water. It passed quickly enough and those around me weren't smelly, loud, or chatty.

It is nice to be home. Yes, Mom, it is. My parents and I went out for Mexican food and it was perfect. Just what I wanted. It is great for hangovers and, I now think, jetlag. I was able to stay up (if not alert) until 9:30pm and slept until 8:30. I am hopeful that today will be a real day.

I am now going to empty the suitcase and do laundry. The suitcase didn't make it upstairs - I left it in the guest room. My room is a disaster area - just as I left it - and there is no place on which to sort all the booty I brought back with me. My sister and her husband will be staying here Saturday night, so I've got a deadline to keep me focused.

I will get my laptop back this evening, so photos may be forthcoming this week. Maybe week after next. I make no promises as I've got to get almost 500 photos into my computer, organized, and uploaded before I can link them to the blog. It is likeliest that I will upload the choice photos and post the link to whatever site I use for that. Don't know yet. I feel awake, but not alert. In fact, I feel rather dull, so I'm going to go away now and only risk boring myself.
