Beeeeeettttter.

Does anyone remember the white queen from the Alice in Wonderland t.v. movie? Just before she turns into a sheep, she says she's better. Beeeetttter. Beeeeeeeetttttter. Baaah. I love it.

Strange the things that stick in your head. I watched that movie over 20 years ago.

I am feeling much better than yesterday or before. After work my car buddy and I found the Bed Bath and Beyond and I bought (I splurged on something I've been meaning to buy for two months) a Tempurpedic pillow. I shall sleep on it this evening. I also bought an allergen impervious pillow cover and a set of pillow cases. They were on sale. 600 count. I can't wait to go to bed.

After BB and Beyond we had dinner at Los Lupes. The chips and salsa are fantastic, but the margarita was a watery disappointment. The spinach enchiladas in a sour cream sauce were brilliant. Inside the enchilada was only spinach and mushroom, so it wasn't too cheesy.

After leaving the restaurant, we misssed our exit onto the freeway from the access road - bam! the window fogged up. With the defroster on high, it cleared in time for us to make the first real left and we turned on to Belt Line at Irving mall. A delightful surprise did we find - a Target. Yea. So we played in Target for a little while.

Once back at the hotel I did laundry. I now have 16 clean pair of undies. Just what I wanted.

It was a productive evening and I feel good about it. Mostly I think the normalcy of doing laundry has helped set me right again. I love doing laundry - starting with a pile of uselessness and finishing with two weeks worth of wardrobe choices. A lovely smelling, satisfying stack of freshness.

I'm going to sleep on my new pillow now.
