I moved when I got to the hotel after work. I'm in the throes of an allergy attack and I do not know if it is from the dusty/musty room or the riotously flowering tree whose branches gently brush the window. I'm going to bed soon, hopefully to wake up less post-nasal dripful.
Other than this allergy thing, the room is okay. Not good, not bad. Big enough, good t.v., clean bathroom and kitchen, fridge with ice maker. All the stuff I need. My car partner is fine here, so I think we might stay for a week and see how we feel. Then again, if I wake up tomorrow and find that it's an allergy fest... maybe we'll move Sunday.
Working tomorrow - an 8 hour shift. I think I'll go in on Sunday for a few hours. Yes, I know. Miss NASCAR? Race coverage starts at noon Texas time, so I'll work a few hours, watch a couple hours and go shoe/pillow shopping and find out what happened when I get home. After all, for me, it's the first 2 minutes that are the most exciting. The last few are great, but so is spending time with a friend shoe shopping. The pillow thing I might do tomorrow evening. This hotel has feather pillows who knows how old. I'll be sleeping on a folded bath towel tonight. Won't my cheeks be all bumply and pretty in the morning? At least I'll be able to breath.
