Went to Red Lobster for dinner. Tasty. I know it's not high rent food or heart healthy, but man, I love it. The tilapia baked in parchment. Side of cheddar mashed potatoes. Ceasar salad. Good stuff.
When I got home, I made rice crispie treats. Tomorrow we're having a little assembly because I'm leaving to join the fray at the other building. It was supposed to be a surprise, but A., one of those that shares an "office", i.e. the the file room, with me, likes too much to share information. It hadn't even occured to him that I wasn't on the e-mail for a reason. He is an entertaining man. Self-effacing and often funny without even trying. I hope I laugh as much at my next placing, but I have my doubts.
I do hear that the swing shift crew is a bit more laid back. This will be good. Though, I will still be dressing professionally as I did not bring many of my oh-so-unflattering casual clothes with me. To not feel like a fat cow, one must dress not like a fat cow.
Tomorrow I'm doing laundry for I shall have only one clean pair of undies left. I bought some more at Target this evening. A set of three in obnoxious colors - pastel flourescent (yes, vaguely reminiscent of those thermal t-shirts) orange, yellow and aqua. What does it matter when I'm the only one seeing my ass? I kind of like them...
