2:43 to be precise.

Yesterday, my first full "day" was from 2:15p.m. to 4:00a.m. On the way out, I stopped to chat with a colleague and as I was about to head to the car, I met another colleague who was arriving to begin the day shift. Freaky.

The night seemed to pass quickly. The first couple of hours were spent in a meeting and getting a tour. The building is huge. I didn't find the time to walk the length of it and time it, but I think I'll do that tomorrow. Uh, later today.

Today I got to work at 1:55p.m. and left at 2 a.m. When I arrived at work I had to park in the farthest auxiliary lot. The hinterland is .7 miles from the office. At 11:30 I walked to my car and parked it in the building lot. The walk to the car wasn't creepy because there are a mess o' folks leaving work at that time, but I had on inappropriate shoes for the trek. My Fluevog heels are deceptively comfortable in the office, but take them for a few blocks and my feet start talking back.

Time for brushing teeth and sleeping.
