Sorry for the dry spell.
Work. Work. Weekend home. Work.
The weekend home part was great. Hair cut, family, good food.
I went to Six Flags this morning. I know. Me. I think the last time I went to Six Flags Over Georgia was when Dad's company had a picnic. At least 10 years. Despite the heat, it was an enjoyable time. We laughed a lot. Three colleagues and I.
Watching folks is such fun. I rode a couple of rides and then they convinced me I needed to ride the Titan. Ugh. Not scary, with a couple of fantastic downhills, but the turns... my brain was trying to squeeze into my neck. It took me an hour of sitting in cool breezes (they have these fantastic misting fans all over the park) before I could contemplate another ride. That last ride? Spongebob Squarepants simulation.
So. Watching people. I was sitting outside the Batman ride and this chick walked by - who thought white linen pants could be skanky.
Yesterday I went looking for a baseball cap. Don't have a hat and I gotta have a hat to spend a half-day in the sun. I didn't want to shop, but I was by a Ross and I thought, maybe they'll have a hat. Walking in I saw a window sign advertising a shoe sale. I thought, maybe I do want to shop. It's an addiction.
I'm tired after my day in the sun.
