Thursday.

Well, change comes a runnin' when it comes. I've been made co-lead of a team notorious for drama, in-fighting and wildly varying production from one team member to another. From the folks I've spoken with and the pleasant reception I had in the introduction meeting, I think the reputation is larger than life. I will be a positive force for change on this team. It sounds cheesy, but I believe people often are as we expect them to be. I am starting on this team with an open mind about everyone. I will listen to whatever stories folks think I need to hear, but I will rely on my own experiences within the team.

I will continue to be the sort of lead I want to have. I can only do this much and hope that this is enough to instill confidence and trust in the folks on the team. If they trust me, then we can fix the problems.

There's not too much else to share. Work is my life. Work and the constant threat to myself that I'm going to do laundry when I get "home". Ha. I handwashed underwear last night, so I'm good to go until Sunday...
