Happy Feet

For lunch, I picked up Quizno's and went to the park. Knitting in the sunshine. Watching the icky birds. The sound of a flock of birds passing directly overhead is like a sinister rustling of crinoline.

I love my shiney new needles. This was the last row of a scarf for Mom (yes, she knows, it was a commanded scarf). Finished it, tried it on, ripped it out. Too small. We'll start again tomorrow.

My pale feet. I just love the nail polish.

After the park I went to see Happy Feet. Funny, but a bit too tense for me. Whatever happened to soft cartoons? You know, one villan (Maleficent is the best), mostly peaceful story. Maybe I'm too old fashioned, but I don't think little kids need or should see the same level of tension as an adult movie. Though, the parents of the hero are both alive, so it does have this up on the Disney movies. The animation was beautiful.
