San Antonio

First weekend in February, I went to San Antonio with my friend M., from D.C. She didn't want to spend her birthday weekend in the cold. It was a good visist, but San Antonio was disappointing. Well, the touristy San Antonio was disappointing, the Botanical Garden was lovely, the Witte Museum was interesting.

The Botanical Garden's conservatory is futuristic and cool.



























The Japanese garden was peaceful.



























The River Walk water was murky and smelled bad. I am posting no photos because I was so disappointed.

We went to the Alamo to walk around the building. The people were interesting. I have no idea what the folks in the photo are reading. Llikely about the history of the battle. It was a beautiful day.

It was a good visit with my friend.
