For today, at least. I'm out in Willow Park, hanging out with my friend K. I'm on her computer because mine won't connect. It shows that I am connected to the wireless router, but I can't connect to the internet. I shall be taking my computer into the Apple store this week - she's running slowly and won't connect to the internet when it's available. I tell you this as explanation for why I'm not posting the brilliantly entertaining bit I wrote - on my computer - the other night. Mmm hmmm.
Work is work. My current tasks hold no challenge. My greatest daily challenge is keeping my mouth shut. I have two post-its on my computer screen reminding me: Mouth Shut. Most of the day I do keep my thoughts to myself, but occasionally the vitriole bubbles up and out. Thankfully, those around me find my occasional ravings amusing.
I am looking forward to traveling in April/May. I still haven't settled my plans, but I am getting closer. Hee hee. Ireland, London, Moscow, maybe Amsterdam. I'm trying to find the most economical way to fly to all those places - not so easy. And when I come home, I want to spend a few days with friends in Disneyland. I know. What a difficult life I do lead.
Okay. I'm signing off now. Going to do some research to see if I can come up with a plot. Yes, I am again trying to write the great american novel. One day I will finish one.
