Long promised, photos of the most fantastic sock yarn I have yet seen. The first is my favorite. I am glad to have purchased two skeins so that I can leave one unknit so as to better admire it. Silly, I know. The second is quite lovely, if not as stunning. However, the socks it will knit into will be remarkable.

The only project I have completed in the last few months was a cardigan/hat set for my niece, of which I have taken no photo. I'll get one with her in it soon enough. She's still a month or so from it even pretending to fit. Here's a photo of her a few weeks ago. Not the most flattering image of me, but hey. We all have those days where we look squishier than an overstuffed armchair... don't we? Eh, well. She's awfully cute...

I've a few more recent photos, but they're still on the camera. I'll get some nice ones Tuesday as I'll be watching her while J. goes to yoga. A lovely walk around the block will be in order, I think. The past weeks of traveling have given me an, albeit weak, excuse to oblivion as concerns what I eat. I'll be going to a Weight Watchers meeting Friday morning; I'm giving myself few days to find the swing of things again.
Unlike my past failed efforts to lose weight, I don't feel as if I've failed myself by eating badly these past few weeks. I've taken a detour, to be sure, but nto a fatal one. Yoga tonight and Wednesday and a walk Tuesday with the niece will start the week off well. Not to mention I'll sleep wonderfully after yoga.
Oh, yoga. How I've missed you.
