Great. I did next to nothing. I woke at 8 to have tea with A. before she left for work and then I headed back to the warm, happy comfort of my bed. I thought I'd missed the nasty effects of jetlag, but I was oh so mistaken. Today was the day of hangover fun. All the headache, none of the fun the night before.
I did shower, clean the kitchen and bask in the garden sun, so the day was not a complete waste. Oh, and I met Frodo the neighbor's cat. Sweet cat with a large head.
This evening A. and I went to the Amsterdam stitch n'bitch. The Americans outnumbered the Dutch. I think I'll go again next week. Nice location and nice folk.
Watching the others knit "real" projects made me long for one of my own. My little socks won't be enough. The top down raglan sweater pattern I love would mean too much yarn to cart around, so I will content myself with a scarf. And I am happy to have a reason to buy yarn. A. is going to start the same type of scarf (a moebius - think of the infinity symbol - a scarf with one edge).
It's too late, I must to bed.

Did you show them your beautiful new shawl? That's a project! Sounds like you really are on vacation. Good for you.
