I'm still here.

I've felt quite boring for a while - that would be for about nine weeks, for those keeping track. I'm not feeling particularly interesting right now, quite the opposite, but I have news.

I got a job! Yes, yes. I will be a credentialing specialist with a major healthcare program. I'm part of the process to run background checks on physicians who are up for accreditation or renewal with the program. Should be interesting enough - detail work, which I like. I've heard good things about the organization and the people I've met and will work with seem pleasant. Monday I go in for two days' orientation and then I start work Wednesday.

My six months of vacation, um, I mean unemployment, have been fantastic, but the job came at the right time. Both financially and mentally. I am ready to have calls on my time, to have structure to my day, to be productive and contributing again to something outside the home.

So. That's my news. Hopefully, I'll get my photos off my camera - there are a couple of months worth on there - and post a couple. Who knows. I might even become interesting again.
